Filming on location in Florence, Columbia and Lexington, South Carolina from June to December 2018 we had the absolute pleasure to produce this short documentary film for the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families.
This piece is centered around the story of Florence, SC native Ron Pyett. A single dad of three whose life was completely changed by the Job Readiness Program at Man 2 Man Fatherhood Initiative (Florence), one of the Center’s six regional fatherhood organizations across the state.
What we attempted to do here was combine Ron’s story with the partnerships between the SC Center for Fathers and Families, the SC Technical College system and how that partnership addresses the widening middle skills job gap in South Carolina. And, we’re happy with the final result.
Our hope is that through this short, potential employers and partners alike can see the incredible benefit and powerful results that this program can have on Fathers in any community.
