Light Imaging

Project Details

Nothing excites us more than the opportunity to do new things. One of the things that we have discovered about stepping into unfamiliar places is all the rewards that come with new experiences.

Although we have been producing for TV & Film for over 15 years, we have never produced a photography shoot – let alone one from outside of the continental US. So, when we got the call from Leisa Mercer with Light Imaging out of Toronto, we jumped at the opportunity.

Leisa, award winning photographer Jonathan Bielaski and the folks at Light Imaging specialize in highly stylized commercial and environmental portrait photography. They were looking to connect with someone in South Carolina that could organize an entire production for them – crew, casting, locations, equipment rentals – and more. We LOVE working with people that know exactly what they want and put every detail into producing the best product…which is our favorite way to work.

Fortunately, with longtime partners in every area of production across South Carolina, we were able to meet all of Leisa and Jonathan’s needs – as well as some extra special help from some really cool homeowners – in beautiful Spartanburg, SC. Although we cannot mention who the shoot was for until the campaign is released…we can let you peak at a few behind the scenes photos to spark your curiosity.

Check out some of the Behind The Scenes photos from the shoot.

Oh, check out some of Light Imaging’s amazing work HERE as well as our friend Jonathan Bielaski.

The Upward Bound Program in collaboration with OTR Media Group provided over 100 students from Richland County Schools the opportunity to discover the art of film and film development. OTR’s curriculum not only exposed students to the world of film, but also enabled them to produce short film projects that students used to fulfill school assignments and teach others about our program and the services we offer.

Sherard Duvall and his fellow team members are utilizing their craft to change the perspective of both pre-collegiate and collegiate students across the Richland County area. I would advise both academic and art centered programs to use their curriculum to motivate students who have an interest in media arts and communication.

Due to our partnership with OTR Media Group, the Upward Bound staff has recognized the vast amount of students who have an interest in this field and is now offering media arts and communications courses throughout its academic and summer phases.
